Como Lake Fishing Derby

A free event for youth under 16 years of age, the Como Lake Fishing Derby has prize giveaways and a pancake breakfast available for a nominal charge. The event is hosted by the Coquitlam Festival Society, the Kinsmen Club of Coquitlam and the Port Coquitlam Rod and Gun Club.

Teddy Bear Family Concert

June 8, 2013 - 2:30pm to 6:00pm

This promises to be a fun evening of music for children of all ages on Saturday June 8, 2013 from 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Coquitlam Grande Parade

June 9, 2013 - 9:45am to 11:00am

Burlington Drive, Coquitlam

Bring your teddy bears to watch as the parade marches up Pinetree Way from the Coquitlam Centre to the Teddy Bear Picnic at Town Centre Park!

Admission: FREE for the Parade, $3 for the Picnic. Children 3 and under are free.

Teddy Bear Picnic

June 9, 2013 - 11:00am to 4:00pm

Town Centre, 1301 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

Fun for all young children - featuring storytelling, puppet shows, rovers, gymnastics and more on Sunday from 11AM-4PM. Also check out the Grand Parade from 9:45AM—11AM Sunday morning. Bring your teddy bears to watch as the parade marches up Pinetree Way from the Coquitlam Centre to the Teddy Bear Picnic at Town Centre Park!

Admission: $3 for the Picnic. Children 3 and under are free.

Lafarge Lake Annual Free Fishing Day

June 15, 2013 - 9:00am to 1:00pm

Lafarge Lake, Coquitlam

Come to Lafarge Lake for a free family-friendly day of fishy fun and prizes during BC’s free fishing weekend – when anglers can fish BC’s waters without a licence. The Lake is stocked for the day and volunteers are available to teach fishing techniques.
